Ph.D. in Computer Science, U. of California, Los Angeles, CA, United States. Associate Professor and Director of the Department of Computing Science, School of Engineering, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is currently the President of the Accreditation Council Technology area.
Mr. Alfredo Gordon Strasser
Chemical Civil Engineer from Universidad de Concepción, Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Chemical Engineering of University of Minnesota (USA). He is currently Professor and Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Universidad de Concepción. He was head of the postgraduate program in Engineering Sciences, with a mention in Chemical Engineering at Universidad de Concepción. He has been Member of the Superior Council of Technological Development of the National Fund of Scientific and Technological Development (FONDECYT) and of the "Advisory Committee of Accreditation of Postgraduate" of the National Accreditation Commission (CNA). He has been a member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers of Chile since 1975, where he also served as president between 1988 and 1992. Since 1974 he has also been a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, A.I.Ch.E. He is currently the Vice-president of the Accreditation Council Technology area of Acredita CI.
Mr. Carlos Aguirre Ahumada
Civil Engineer and Master in Seismic Engineering from the School of Engineering of Universidad de Chile, Post-Graduate in Seismology and Seismic Engineering, Building Research Institute, Tsukuba, Japan. From 1974 to 2015 he was an academic at the Department of Civil Works at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, where he also held various executive positions such as, President of the Institutional Ethics Commission, Director of the Civil Works Department, Head of the Structures Section, Deputy Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. He is a member of several national and international congresses and conferences committees, among which we can mention: STESSA, ACHISINA and CONNECTIONS. He is currently a Board Member of the Center for Studies and Research in Infrastructure (CEII) and the Materials Testing and Control of Works Laboratory (LEMCO) of the Civil Works Department of Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.
Mr. Federico Meza Montoya
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Informatics, School of Computer Science and Informatics, University of Costa Rica, San José, Costa Rica. Magister Scientiae in Computer Science, Honorable Mention Summa Cum Laude, Computer Research Center, Technological Institute of Costa Rica, Cartago, Costa Rica. Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Department of Computer Science, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is currently Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering, Universidad de Talca, Chile . He has been Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Informatics of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, has served as President of the Chilean Society of Computer Science, years 2008-2012. In the same period has been Chapter Chair (Chile) of the IEEE Computer Society. Relevant experience as an external evaluator in the process of accreditation of careers and master programs, as well as conducting self-evaluation processes.
Mr. José Luis Pérez Saavedra
Industrial Civil Engineer from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Sciences, Industrial Administrator and Technical Academic in Instrumentation and Industrial Automation at the same University. Master in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He was Member of ISA - International Society of measurement and control, also Member of COCHILCO - and Member of the Circle of Graduates of MII - Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has been a professor at the Technological Faculty of Universidad de Santiago de Chile since 1992. Expert in Instrumentation and Control, he has specialized in the area in the United States. He is an authorized professional for manipulation of radioactive equipment. He has been an evaluator of Acredita CI, with an outstanding participation in the process of accreditation of careers.
Mr. Luis Quezada Llanca
Industrial Civil Engineer, Universidad de Chile, Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Systems, University of Nottingham, England and Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Management at the same University. Since 1983 he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate in the area of Industrial Engineering, leading research projects being the latest topics developed in optimization, Design of Strategic Maps, among others related to strategic planning. Author of ISI publications and participation in congresses of his specialty. He currently serves as Director of Institutional Development at Universidad de Santiago de Chile. He is a member of the Board of the International Foundation for Production Research (IFPR) and was Chairman of the International Conference on Production Research America 2004 (ICPR AMERICA 2004-2007 and 2012). He has been Project Evaluator CORFO-FONTEC, CORFO-FDI. He is Member of the Editorial Committee of the International Journal of Production Economics (ISI publication).
Mr. Marcos Chait Bellolio
Electronic Civil Engineer from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, Master in Electronic Engineering with a mention in Computers and Digital Systems. He has been a professor of the Electronics Department of Universidad Católica del Norte and the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering of the same house of studies. Currently he is the head professor at the School of Engineering of Universidad Católica del Norte Coquimbo Campus. He has held various administrative management positions throughout his performance at Universidad Católica del Norte. He has an extensive experience in linking with the relevant external environment and developing of joint projects. He has been external evaluator in national and international processes, with extensive experience in the development of accreditation processes.
Mr. Ramón Frederick González
Chemical Civil Engineer, Universidad de Chile, Master of Science, Loughborough University, UK. He is currently Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of Universidad de Chile, where he has held various positions in academic management as the Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering; Economic and Administrative Director, President of the Hierarchical Commission and Coordinator of Master's Programs in Engineering Sciences, a mechanical mention and Doctorate in Fluid Dynamics, among other series of works. As an evaluator of Acredita CI, CNA and ARCUSUR for careers and master's degree programs, he has participated in training for peer reviewers, instances developed by the Agency. Has led teams to the development of processes of self-assessment of careers and Master's Programs. Responsible for conducting several FONDECYT projects, a series of publications in ISI magazines and international journals where his area of expertise focuses on "Creation, development and validation of codes and computer simulation models of phenomena and processes in multiphysical software.
Mr. Santiago Fernández Peña
Civil Engineer from the Universidad Central de Las Villas, Santa Clara, Cuba. Doctor in Technical Sciences at the same University. He was Head of Department of Structures and Teaching Vice Dean and Vice Dean of Investigations and Postgraduates in said house of studies. Since 2001 he has been Director of Careers in the Construction Area at INACAP Renca, Chile. His area of expertise is in the investigation of the "behavior of reinforced concrete elements subjected to flexure before cracking, with analysis of the factors that most influence this phenomenon and its evaluation, taking into account different international standards and criteria." He has been an outstanding evaluator of Acredita CI and has participated in a series of training workshops as a peer reviewer. He has led the development of self-assessment processes for accreditation in INACAP.
